Readers are Leaders Club
The
Readers Are Leaders Club is designed for students in grade 1 through 3 to
practice literacy skills after school. Emphasizes phonemic awareness, phonics,
fluency and vocabulary and includes a parent component. Six students in each group.
All curriculum and evaluation materials provided.

Punch & Cookies Read
Aloud Program
(Formerly known as Partners
in Print)
Punch & Cookies, for
children ages 5 through 8, provides a supportive environment where parents can
discover how to help their children learn to read—cover to cover. Parents (or a designated adult) attend with
their child. Each new session has new parents and students. Teachers demonstrate
proper reading techniques and strategies.
Books and curriculum provided.
Two-Six week sessions at Barnard School

Job Requirements
·
Certified teachers or other trained professionals in reading, literacy,
and language arts.

Must have experience working with elementary children
