The Weirdest April Vacation Ever

The Weirdest April Vacation Ever is a book where you, the reader, can choose what happens next. But beware, your choices come with both rewards and consequences. Of course, if you don’t like the results of your choice, you can always go back and choose again. You can read this book over and over and experience more than twenty-five different endings. You are a seventh grader at Summerville Junior High School and April vacation has finally come. It has been a long three and a half months without so much as a snow day. But now, you are free for a whole week! As you leave school at the end of the day, your two friends are heading in different directions. They both want you to go with them. You weigh your options – which direction will you choose? The Weirdest April Vacation Ever was written by kids attending Summer Escape Camp in Enfield, CT during 2015. Nearly 200 students ranging from recent kindergarten “graduates” to kids heading to eighth grade brainstormed ideas, wrote the adventures, and drew the illustrations over five weeks.
